Description
Often those living with dementia can lose the ability to recognise what the time is and even whether it is day or night. This can cause many challenges for them and for their carers, such as them getting up or even leaving the home during the night.
The Memory Loss Clock can help those living with dementia. The deliberate simplicity of its display has been proven by researchers and occupational therapists to help those with memory issues to maintain their daily routine. It can also reduce their anxiety about the time of day and about the possibility of missing key events.
What makes our clock different from other similar clocks is:
- It has a clear and easy-to read display; no abbreviations are used and all text is in large characters, providing a simple reminder of what the day, time and date is:
- The display has excellent contrast and auto-dims at night. This allows it to be use within a bedroom without disturbing the user’s sleep
- Features dual time mode, dual date mode & a choice of 8 languages
All settings and options are configured by an intuitive on-screen menu. Full (and clearly written!) set-up instructions are provided with each clock.
The clock comes with a 1.4 metre cable. We also have a 1.2 metre cable extension available.
